The maintained successor to Fixed Widget

Keep what matters in view.

Make any widget, block or element sticky while visitors scroll – then go further with a sticky “Add to cart” bar, an announcement bar and clear stats on what gets clicked.

Free on WordPress.org · One-click import from Fixed Widget · No jQuery

70,000+ sites still run Fixed Widget – a plugin that hasn’t been tested with the last three WordPress releases.

Free on WordPress.org

Sticky that just works – on any theme.

Built from the ground up for today’s WordPress: block themes, the widget editor and page builders.

Blocks, widgets or anything

A toggle on every block, a checkbox on classic widgets, or a CSS selector for page-builder sections.

Zero layout shift

A placeholder holds the element’s spot, so the page never jumps – good for readers and for Core Web Vitals.

Solid when zooming

Width follows the column on zoom, resize and rotation – the most common complaint about older plugins.

Smart top and bottom

Stays below the admin bar and sticky headers, and stops before your footer – detected automatically.

Per device

Choose desktop, tablet and mobile, with your own breakpoints.

Light and fast

Plain JavaScript, no jQuery, loaded deferred. Works with caching and optimization plugins.

Stay Put Pro

Turn attention into clicks – and see what works.

Sticky “Add to cart” bar

The buy button stays within reach on WooCommerce product pages. It slides in once the product’s own button scrolls out of view.

  • Add simple products straight from the bar, with quantity
  • Variable products jump back to the options
  • Image, price, colors, top or bottom, per device

Announcement bar

Offers, news or sign-ups in a bar pinned to the top or bottom of the screen.

  • Show after a chosen scroll depth
  • Visitors can close it – it stays hidden for the days you choose
  • Whole site, selected content types, or hide on specific pages

Statistics that respect privacy

See how often each sticky element and bar is seen and clicked – right in WordPress.

  • Views, clicks and click rate per element
  • 7 days to 12 months, with a daily chart
  • No cookies, IP addresses or visitor IDs – only daily totals

Rules per block and widget

Pin a sign-up box only on desktop, or start sticking a call to action once the reader is halfway down the page.

Switching takes one click.

Stay Put finds your Fixed Widget setup and brings it over – spacing, stop elements, custom elements, screen limits and every widget you had marked as fixed.

Questions

Do I need the free plugin?

Yes. Stay Put Pro is an add-on: install the free Stay Put from WordPress.org, then upload Pro and activate your licence key under Settings → Stay Put.

Will it work with my theme or page builder?

It works with block themes and classic themes. For page-builder sections (Elementor, Divi, Bricks, Brizy) add a CSS selector or the class stayput-sticky.

Does it slow down my site?

No jQuery and no third-party scripts on your pages. Scripts load deferred, and statistics are sent once per page view in the background.

Are the statistics GDPR-friendly?

They use no cookies, no IP addresses and no visitor IDs. Only daily totals per element are stored in your own database, and logged-in editors aren’t counted.

What happens if my licence expires?

The free features keep working. Pro features pause until you renew, and your Pro settings are kept.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. If Stay Put Pro isn’t right for you, write to us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.

Where do I find my licence key?

In your purchase e-mail and in your Lemon Squeezy account.
